Hi-Pines Campground has new owner With the summer camping season under way, Mark Weber of Turning Point Investments has taken over the Hi-Pines Campground just north of Eagle River on Highway 45.
The Business Bank of Appleton and S&L Management Inc. turned the keys over to Turning Point Investments on May 1.
For the past eight years, Weber has owned and operated more than six different campgrounds and resorts in Minnesota and currently is invested with Pine Haven Resort on Black-Water Lake in Longville, Minn., and Cokato RV Resort on Cokato Lake in Minnesota.
“I’m not afraid to make investments and improvements to bring revenue up for the campground and community,” he said. “I am definitely planning and adding more amenities and activities to make stays here more enjoyable for our guests. We are in this for the long haul and want Hi-Pines to be a top pick for campgrounds in the Eagle River area.”
