Margaret Shower

Margaret Shower of Eagle River, formerly of Madison, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Ministry Eagle River Memorial Hospital. She was 94.

Mrs. Shower was born October 1, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of John and Minnie Peters.

A resident of Eagle River since 1974, she was a member of the Eagle River Homemakers Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1984 and one granddaughter, Heidi.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary DuPont of Berkeley, Calif., and Barbara Vogel of Falls Church, Va.; two sons, John of New Tazewell, Tenn., and James (Lila) of Iola; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held July 2 at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River.
