Betty Jane Radtke

Betty Jane Radtke of St. Germain died Tuesday, July 13, 2010. She was 88.

Mrs. Radtke was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lester and Mildred (nee Isenring) Eifler.

She married Robert W. Radtke June 26, 1945.

Mrs. Radtke worked for Dr. Haushalter in Milwaukee for many years. She retired in St. Germain and was active in the Women’s Service Club, the board of the St. Germain Housing Authority, St. Germain Cemetery board and the UNO Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Robert Eifler; a nephew, Kenneth Haskey; and her parents.

Survivors include three nephews, Richard (Lori) Eifler; Donald (Paula Nygaard) Eifler and John (Julie) Eifler; one niece, Jayne Haskey; a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Sigmund-Eifler) Fischer; a cousin, Dorothy Peale; and many other great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held July 20 at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. The Rev. Dorothy Lindstrom officiated.

Interment was in St. Germain Cemetery.
